I really hope not!

When I was pregnant with Baby J they had the glucose test around 28 weeks and then if you failed you had to do a 3 hr. fasting glucose test.  I did fail, but only because they told me I could eat whatever I wanted before the test, so I ate leftovers which was mostly mashed potatoes, so of course that's all going to turn into sugar and then the sugar drink on top of that will set me over!  So I had to do the 3 hr. fasting test, which I passed, so I did not have gestational diabetes.

This pregnancy, they have new standards so they do a fasting test between 16-19 weeks with no sugar drink, just fast and get your blood taken the next day...and they also have new standards of what is "normal" well what the American college of obstetrics and gynecology thinks is normal is a glucose level of 92 after fasting, well my number is 96, but my gynecologist signed off on it, so the nurse said he either isn't concerned with it or he just didn't see the number....so I have to wait until tomorrow to hear what he says.  I really hope I don't have gestational diabetes, that would suck!

On a good note my thyroid levels are still in good range!  YAY!
